The traditional, standard tuning for playing BLUES, FOLK, ROCK, COUNTRY, POP Major Diatonic; 1 Standard Tuning & 3 Altered Tunings Color-Coded for Easy Identification; 10 Hole Altered tunings sound very different from standard tuning which is the traditional blues/rock/country tuning. Certain reeds have been changed to create each of the altered tunings and this provides different sounds and different scales. Altered tunings make it easy to play many different kinds of music and can help to expand musical horizons. Owning a few keys of altered tunings is like adding new colors of paint to a player's musical palette. They are fun to play!
