For over 60 years, the HEINRICH KIPP WERK has been synonymous with the clamping lever, which is also often referred to as a rocker lever. Clamping levers are reliable, stable and versatile. They are mainly used in mechanical engineering for tensioning devices or machine parts. Clamping levers can also be used as controls in plant construction. In industries such as rehabilitation, medicine and the furniture industry they are often used for tensioning different components. Designs: As versatile as the applications, the selection of clamping levers is as diverse as you consist of a handle lever in which a threaded insert (female or male thread) is installed. Clamping levers can be selected with different thread diameters and handle sizes. Materials used are mostly steel, stainless steel, die-cast zinc, plastic and fibreglass-reinforced plastic injection moulding. Many clamping lever models are available as standard in different colours, such as black, red, orange or silver metallic. How it works: the function of a clamping lever is simple: by lifting the handle lever, the clamping lever locks out from one tooth and is freely adjustable. When you release the handle, it automatically snaps back into place. Now the clamping lever can be moved by hand to tighten something, loosen or adjust the position of a machine element. Clamping levers and tension levers are primarily attached to machinery - for clamping or positioning. Other areas of application include fixture construction, e.g. for quick fixing of mounting plates or tool construction, in which the clamping lever is used for tensioning tool components. They are also useful when mounting profiles.
